MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Education and Experience:
-
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
-
One (1) year of full-time work experience, which require the interpretation, explanation and enforcement of varied codes and regulations.

Preferred: One (1) year of full-time work experience, which required the inspection of properties for violations related to zoning, graffiti, nuisance, building, or other related code violations or one (1) year full-time experience and a valid Zoning Officer and/or Property Housing and Maintenance Inspector certification through the International Code Council or the American Association of Code Enforcement is preferred.

Equivalency: May substitute any combination of equivalent education, certification or work experience as minimum qualifications required.
Licenses and Certifications:

Must possess a valid state driver’s license and maintain satisfactory motor vehicle record with the ability to obtain appropriate Nevada state driver’s license within required time frame.
