MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
-
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely related field and;
-
Preferred seven (7) years hands-on data management experience working in data analysis, data migration, and the forward/reverse engineering of data models.
-
Equivalency: in addition to the seven (7) years of hands-on data management expertise experience, the city may assess one (1) year of full-time relevant work experience as equivalent to one (1) year of education.
Licenses and Certifications

Must possess a valid state driver's license and maintain satisfactory motor vehicle record with the ability to obtain appropriate Nevada state driver’s license within required time frame.
BACKGROUND PROCESS & PRE EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates for this position are subject to pre-employment screenings and employment is contingent upon these results. Pre-employment screenings may include but are not limited to: local, state, and federal criminal history checks, and may require submission of fingerprints; drug screen; and
physical examinations to include a psychological evaluation.
WORKING CONDITIONS:

Works in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt and the like.

While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk to assigned post possibly outside, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, or talk, and hear, view camera and computer screens for prolonged periods of time, and is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
