Minimum Qualifications Required:
Education and Experience:
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in electronics engineering technology or related field.
- Five years of related experience in electronics.
- Any combination of education, training and experience which produces the knowledge, skills and abilities required for the job and related to the essential functions of the position.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Must possess a valid state driver's license and maintain satisfactory motor vehicle record with the ability to obtain appropriate Nevada state driver’s license within required time frame.
Skills:
- Communicating clearly and effectively with others.
- Configuring, writing and modifying computer programs for controllers.
- Troubleshooting systems and equipment using schematics and programming code.
- Operating complex electrical and electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, communications analyzers and rf wattmeter.
- Locating and detecting malfunctions and defects in pumping station operations.
- Performing maintenance and repair on electrical and electronic equipment.
- Reading and interpreting technical manuals and information.
