MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a closely related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. The City equates one (1) year of full-time work experience in the identified essential functions to one (1) year of education.
  • Three (3) years of experience performing analytical support duties for an organization, preferably in an IT and/or HR environment.
  • Proficiency with SQL and database knowledge
  • Preferred: Strong technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product, preferably Oracle; experience and knowledge of HR business processes and best practices.
  • Preferred: Municipal government experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Must possess a valid state driver's license and maintain satisfactory motor vehicle record and ability to obtain appropriate Nevada state driver’s license within required time frame.
