MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

  • Minimum age of 16 years old.
  • Any combination of education, training, volunteer or experience that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions the ability to assist with parks and recreation program services an entry level
  • Bilingual skills is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Must possess a valid Nevada State driver’s license/identification Credential of have the ability to obtain, and maintain a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
  • Must possess a Standard First Aid and CPR Certificate withing two weeks of hire prior to performing the essential functions of position. NLS will provide training.
  • Must possess a Clark County Health Card (Food Handlers Card) within thirty (30) days of date of hire.

SELECTION PROCESS

Pre-Employment Screening – Selected candidates for this position are subject to a pre-employment screening which includes but is not limited to local & state criminal history check; federal criminal history check via submission of fingerprints; drug screening; and a Child Abuse & Neglect Registry clearance for applicants 18 years of age or above. *IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Background check processing may take 2 to 3 months to complete
