ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
THE ROLE
The Research Analysis Intern (Water Operations) will gather data, review literature, and use various methodologies to collect pertinent information concerning the revisions to the EPA Lead & Copper Rule.
Pay Considerations
The hourly pay for this position is $15 - $19 (based on education level).
Work Schedule
This position is scheduled to work up to 20 hours weekly between Monday and Thursday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Part-Time/Temporary Position
- This position is a part time/temporary position and does not include health or medical benefits.
- Hours for this position will not exceed 935 per calendar year (see weekly hours for this position under work schedule).

IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate would exhibit strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills; possess quantitative and statistical proficiency as well as high standards of ethical behavior; demonstrate the ability to pay attention to details and collaborate in a team environment; and be comfortable using Microsoft Office suite.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Current enrollment in any of the following degree programs: Math/Statistics, Data Science, Water Resources Management, Environmental Science, Economics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field
- Current enrollment with a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester (undergraduate level) or 3 credit hours per semester (graduate level)
- Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
- A valid Nevada driver’s license
- Legal right to work to work in the U.S.
