ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

- Pay Considerations –The starting salary for the position is 84,412.75. Starting salary is dependent on education, qualifications, and experience.
- Work Schedule – This position is scheduled to work 4 days per week, 9 hours per day, (36-hour work week) Monday through Thursday, 8:00am to 6:00pm
THE ROLE
Under general supervision, leads high-level complex business analysis initiatives, provides strategic guidance on technology solutions and process improvements. Coordinates IT projects to ensure alignment between IT and business objectives; analyzes complex business requirements, and translate them into functional specifications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a closely related field;
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), finance, or related field is preferred
- Five (5) years of work experience in analytics, systems development or project management.
Equivalency: Any equivalent combination of education, related work experience, or training in business systems analytics and/or systems development. The City assesses one (1) year of full-time job relevant job experience as equivalent to one (1) year of education.
Licenses and Certifications- Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Nevada driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
- Incumbents in positions that require possession of valid licensing/certification as a condition of employment must obtain and maintain such credentials within the established time periods, and throughout the course of employment. Failure to obtain or maintain required licenses or certifications in good standing may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination
SELECTION PROCESS

- The selection process will begin with a screening of the application/resume - The best qualified candidates will be invited to participate in the assessment process. The selection process will include (dates to be determined).
- Oral Board Interview -
- Pre-Employment Screening – Selected candidates for this position are subject to a pre-employment screening which includes but is not limited to local & state criminal history check; federal criminal history checks via submission of fingerprints; and drug screening. *IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Background check processing may take 2 to 3 months to complete.
