ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

- Pay Considerations –The salary range for the position is $91,138.70-$147,710.62. Starting salary is dependent on education, qualifications, and experience.
- Work Schedule – This position is scheduled to work 4 days per week, 9 hours per day, (36 hour work week) Monday through Thursday, 8:00am to 6:00pm at our Fire Administration Building located at 4040 Losee Road North Las Vegas, NV 89030. May be required to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by department needs.
THE ROLE
Under general direction, manages and participates in social and /behavioral health programs that operate in coordination with Fire/EMS services, including the Collaborative Outreach Referral and Evaluation (CORE) and Crisis Response Team (CRT) programs and activities within the City of North Las Vegas Fire Department. Oversees service delivery, interagency coordination, data and performance analytics, contracts, grants, and staff supervision.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Social Work, Crisis Intervention, Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Developmental Disabilities, and Crises Response.
- Three (3) years of practical work experience in Social Work, Public/Community Health, Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Developmental Disabilities, and Crises Response, including previous Clinical Program Management experience.
- Equivalency: An equivalent combination of education, work experience, and/or training experience in Social Work, Crisis Intervention, Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Developmental Disabilities, and Crises Response, including Clinical Program Management experience.
- Must possess a valid (or have the ability to obtain) a Nevada state driver’s license, and maintain satisfactory motor vehicle record.
- Incumbents in positions that require possession of valid licensing/certification as a condition of employment must obtain and maintain such credentials within the established time periods, and throughout the course of employment. Failure to obtain or maintain required licenses or certifications in good standing may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
