MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Social Work, Crisis Intervention, Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Developmental Disabilities, and Crises Response. 
  • Three (3) years of practical work experience in Social Work, Public/Community Health, Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Developmental Disabilities, and Crises Response, including previous Clinical Program Management experience. 
  • Equivalency: An equivalent combination of education, work experience, and/or training experience in Social Work, Crisis Intervention, Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Developmental Disabilities, and Crises Response, including Clinical Program Management experience. 
  • Must possess a valid (or have the ability to obtain) a Nevada state driver’s license, and maintain satisfactory motor vehicle record. 
  • Incumbents in positions that require possession of valid licensing/certification as a condition of employment must obtain and maintain such credentials within the established time periods, and throughout the course of employment. Failure to obtain or maintain required licenses or certifications in good standing may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

SELECTION PROCESS

  4. Oral Board Interview 
  5. Pre-Employment Screening – Selected candidates for this position are subject to a pre-employment screening which includes but is not limited to local & state criminal history check; federal criminal history checks via submission of fingerprints; and drug screening. *IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Background check processing may take 2 to 3 months to complete.
