IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal individual will have the ability to independently exercise good judgement in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative and organizational skills, and possess the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities

MINIMMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience 

  • Associate’s degree in business communication, communications or a field related to a function of municipal government. Bachelor’s degree preferred; and
  • Five (5) years of full-time progressively responsible administrative and analytical experience performing organizational and operational analysis work in a government or business capacity, including experience as a supervisor. Two (2) years of recent supervisory experience preferred.
  • Equivalency: May substitute a combination of equivalent education and experience. The city assesses 1 year of fulltime experience as equivalent to one year of education. 
    Licenses and Certifications
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license and maintain satisfactory motor vehicle record and ability to obtain appropriate Nevada state driver’s license within required time frame.
    SELECTION PROCESS
    1.    Oral Board (Weight 100%, Passing Score 70%)
